Irvin F. and Alice S. Etscorn Summer Development Awards

These awards, open to students from all disciplines, offer an exciting opportunity for UofL undergraduates to study and conduct research this coming summer. To be eligible, students must be able to demonstrate plans for continued enrollment at UofL in Fall 2019. Students are responsible for creating their own proposed summer plan. Past recipients have conducted independent research, taken specialized courses in their field, completed professional internships, or undertaken intensive study at overseas or domestic language institutes.

Awards will be offered in increments determined by the cost of the program and the student’s level of funding from other sources. Applicants can propose a preferred and alternate program and budgets for both (unless the student has already been accepted into the preferred program). For more information and a copy of the application, please email the National and International Scholarships Office at NISO@louisville.edu.
