Ending the School to Prison Pipeline
More than 42% of students already in juvenile correctional schools are classified with a learning or educational disability. If you are interested in becoming part of the solution to this growing problem, Seven Counties Services is offering tools to help at an upcoming workshop. The half-day event will provide families with information to effectively advocate for their children. The workshop will also help reduce the youth’s risk of involvement with the DJJ system. Call Titerriell Macklin at 589-8085 and R.S.V.P. for this training. A light lunch will be provided.
