Charlie Vettiner Park Construction Open House
Metro Councilmen Kevin Kramer (District 11), Stuart Benson (District 20) and Robin Engel (District 22) will hold an informational open house to discuss ongoing construction at Charlie Vettiner Park.

Phase I of the Master Plan includes improvements along Charlie Vettiner Park Road, including additional parking spaces, green infrastructure drainage improvements wooden rail to prevent off-road driving and parking, and speed humps to reduce driving speed through the park. A concrete walk will also be constructed, extending from the Easum Road entry, approximately 1,500 feet into the park to connect to the walking loop.
In total, more than $690,000 in funding allocated through Metro Council Capital Infrastructure Funds and the Metro Budget will be allocated to Phase I of the Charlie Vettiner Master Plan.
