The effort is part of the Community wide Brightside Cleanup.

Description: "The Public Trust Doctrine: Our Inherent and Inalienable Property Right" This year's Boehl Distinguished Lecture in Land Use Policy will be Thursday, April 10, at 6 p.m. in Room 275 of the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. Professor Mary Christina Wood of the University of Oregon will be speaking on "The Public Trust Doctrine: Our Inherent and Inalienable Property Right." Professor Wood developed the concept of using the public trust doctrine to address climate change and the environment and is the author of a recent landmark book, Nature's Trust: Environmental Law for a New Ecological Age (Cambridge University Press, 2014). The Lecture is open to the public. Please come to hear one of the nation's leading environmental and property thinkers, with a short reception to follow.
