SHAVAU TOV! Jewish Cultural Diversity Week begins with a lecture from San Francisco University Professor, Eran Kaplan.
Professor Kaplan will examine the 2011 protests in Tel Aviv (and other cities) in which, beyond concrete demands, the protesters expressed a longing for the Israel of pre-1967, to the welfare and state and social programs that it provided, for what some protesters described as the Golden Age of Zionism.
