Spring 2012 University Wide Career Expo - Employer Information

Who Should Attend this Event?                                                                                                                         

This event is for employers seeking to hire Part-time Employees, Interns, Coop Students and Full-time Employees in a wide variety of majors.

Event Agenda

8:00am - 11:00am         Career Center Staff available in the SAC to receive your shipped materials

9:00am - 11:00am          Parking at Papa Johns Stadium and Shuttle to SAC/Representative check-in and booth setup

11:00am - 3:00pm          Expo is open to student traffic

12:00am - 1:00pm          A buffet lunch will be available in the Student  Activities Center for Career Expo representatives.

3:00pm - 5:00pm            Staff will be available to assist you with returning your materials and shuttling you back to Papa Johns Stadium parking.

3:00pm - 5:00pm            Career Center Staff available in the SAC to return your shipped materials

What is included in my registration?

Your registration includes (1) 6' x 8' booth with (1) 6' table (skirted) and (2) chairs, *validated parking, catered lunch, and access to UofL students and alumni for up to two representatives. You are welcome to send more than two, at an additional cost of $25/recruiter.

Can I set up ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWING after the fair?

What is the Cost of this Event?

Regular registration rate   $400.00, Government/Non-Profit Rate $350.00

How do you register to attend this event?

Career Fair Registration is managed through Cards CareerLink (formerly Symplicity). Log into or create your account and click on the Spring 2012 University Wide Career Expo link found in the "Attend Events" Box located in the center of the page.

• If you do not see this link, please call 502-852-6701 so that we may change your account settings to allow you to register for Career Fair Events.

• Please note, registration confirmation is based on payment receipt, and is on a first come first served basis. Payments by check or credit card are accepted.

What happens after I register?

1) You will receive an email confirming receipt of your registration request.
2) Then, upon the approval of your registration, you will receive a second email which will include an attached invoice.
3) Once your payment has been received you will be sent an email that will include:
a confirmation letter with logistical information regarding set-up, shipping materials, directions to campus and directions to parking, and a receipt of payment.

Please remember: If you are registering for representatives from your organization, please be sure to distribute the confirmation letter to their email(s) so that they will receive all necessary set-up information.

How do I make Payment?

Your invoice for the Spring 2012 University-Wide Career Expo will be forwarded to the email address listed in Cards CareerLink upon your registration approval. If you are paying by check please forward your payment to the address on the invoice. If you are paying by credit card, you submitted your payment information on-line. Please note it may take up to 10 days for credit cards to be processed. If you have not received an invoice, please contact  Leslye Erickson at 502-852-4740.

Where is parking this year?

Please park in the Papa John's Stadium Parking Lot, Far West Side near the train tracks. We will have coffee, assistance unloading your materials and shuttle transportation to the loading dock of the Student Activities Center waiting for you upon your arrival.

Cancellations

All full refund cancellations requests must be submitted to the Career Development Center by March 16th. No refunds will be issued if you cancel after March 16th.  Should you encounter any difficulties registering, or if you need any additional information, please contact Leslye Erickson, Director, UofL Career Development Center at 502-852-4740 or leslye.erickson@louisville.edu
