Career Development Center Internship Program

The University of Louisville Career Development Center offers a comprehensive Internship Program designed to help match students with internships and receive academic credit for their experience.

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Be carefully monitored work experiences in which students have intentional learning goals/objectives
  • Promote academic, career, and/or personal development
  • Be paid or unpaid
  • Have a minimum work term of at least 12 hours/week, at least 2 months, and at least 150 work hours
  • Define whether the hired intern will need to complete the opportunity for academic credit or not-for academic credit
  • Keep contact with Internship Coordinator throughout the work term
  • Be uploaded into Cards Career Connection
