Louisville native Tytianna Wells is a world explorer after traveling to China with the African American Theatre Program. The trip was part of a cultural exchange at Xiamen University, where UofL students performed three plays and held discussions on African American history. Tytianna was there to document the trip, from the lectures to the performances to the sightseeing.
This is the second of three parts of her trip to China with the African American Theatre Program.

Paige Battcher is one of seven UofL students to be awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship in 2008. This year, she will travel to Thailand to teach English. But in this Cardinal Cam video, Paige takes us on a tour of Europe during her semester studying abroad through the College of Business.

4th year, UofL School of Dentistry
Hometown: LaGrange, Kentucky
Lydia Winters, one of five prestigious Williams Scholars in the UofL School of Dentistry, is well prepared for her first job out of college. She will work for the Indian Health Service, helping an underserved population receive dental care in Fort Defiance, Ariz. Her four years in UofL’s School of Dentistry prepared her for this moment. She shows us what future dental school students will see at UofL.

Muscular Dystrophy is a genetic disorder that weakens a person’s muscles. That doesn’t keep Jeremy Watts from enjoying campus life at UofL. He will graduate with a communications degree. He is a proud member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. And he gets around campus with ease. As he puts it, “Anything’s possible.”

Mike felt at home as soon as he arrived on campus from his hometown in Eastern Kentucky. He quickly got involved in campus life and became a Resident Assistant for the Office of Housing and Residence Life. This is his view from inside one of UofL's 14 residence halls.

Erin has a passion for helping people and that's why she wants to be a public health official. She wants to help people live safer and healthier lives. Her education in UofL's School of Public Health & Information Sciences will prepare her for this role in life.

Sarah takes us with her during Homecoming Week. She takes part in all the fun at the Homecoming Block Party, from the games to the free food. She also has a sideline view at the flag football championship game for her sorority, Delta Zeta.

UofL Brandeis School of Law, 2nd year
Hometown: Louisville, KY
Kyle has a bachelor of science degree from UofL in justice administration. He is pursuing a degree from the School of Law because he feels strongly about public service and helping people. Watch as Kyle and some of his fellow law school students perform community service by restoring a house for Habitat for Humanity.

Living on campus: I live on 4th street right across the street from all my classes and everything else I need. It's a great location AND there are always activities going on—including some that have free food, which is a big sell to a college student like me!

Major: Mechanical Engineering
Why she chose UofL: I've always been interested in airplanes and NASA. I wanted an engineering program that could help me travel down that path and Speed School and Mechanical Engineering are perfect for that.
