The web cost calculator is a tool to help undergraduate students and their families determine what costs are associated with attending the University of Louisville. The amounts and totals listed below are estimates for the 2023-2024 academic year and additional charges or fees may apply based on a student's program of study. The Student Recreation Center Fee ($98 per semester for full-time students; pro-rated for part-time students), the Primary Care Health Fee ($150 per semester for students with 6 or more credit hours), and the Bundled Tuition Fees are included in the total cost. The Primary Care Health Fee can be waived with proof of insurance. Please see the notes below for more details about costs and fees. ***University fees are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees and the Council for Postsecondary Education and may be changed without prior notice.

The average cost of books per year has been calculated by Financial Aid as $1000.

Additional program and/or course fees may apply depending on your major and course enrollment.

Estimated costs do not include miscellaneous items like computers, entertainment, student organization fees, laundry, clothing, eating out, utilities, recreation and other living expenses typically incurred by students. Depending on your academic program, there may be technology requirements.
