Personal Information 
Robert's family has been native to Louisville for centuries. Robert has been with the Institute since 2005 serving as assistant to the Director, handling business related responsibilities, managing the unit's Resource Room, and maintaining the unit's web presence.
For 20+ years prior to joining the University Robert applied his management skills to resolving design and production issues for the Ford Motor Company Body Design Division (Dearborn, MI), General Mills Creative Products Division (Kenner toys) and numerous other architectural/engineering/manufacturing firms both local & national. Robert holds degrees as Master of Engineering(MEng) from the Speed School of Engineering, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering(BSME) from the University of Cincinnati Evening College, Associate of Architectual Design(ADDT) from Louisville Technical Institute, and is currently pursuing Paralegal studies in legal research.
In addition to providing services to the Institute Robert is an avid UofL advocate especially Cardinal athletics and specifically the nationally recognized Women's Basketball program who were the runner-up for the 2009 NCAA National Championship. Robert is a Class '75 Ambassador for Trinity High School (Lou., KY), former member of the Louisville Historical League Board of Directors, and is a registered Notary Public for the State of Kentucky.
During Robert's leisure time he loves to cook, garden, fly kites, swim, and generally enjoys each day and everyday with his lovely wife of twenty-five+ years, Angela.
