Our Mission StatementThe Center's mission is to build a partnership by expanding state-of-the-art diagnostic programs in the School of Medicine's Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry, expanding treatment through Systematic Treatment of Autism & Related Disorders (STAR), training services provided by the College of Education and Human Development's Kentucky Autism Training Center and developing a supported research agenda. This mission will lead to creation of a premier autism program of treatment, evaluation, intervention, training and research that will serve residents of Kentucky and surrounding states, offering children, parents and primary care providers with a single source of treatment, referral and information. |
