The US-China Economic and Security Review Commission invited Dr. Shiping Hua, director of the Center for Asian Democracy, to testify at its first meeting of the year on the US-China relationship.  The hearing was held on Capital Hill from February 1-2, 2007, and examined the US-China relationship from economic, security and political perspectives and will identify challenges facing the US-China relationship in 2007.  Dr. Hua will participate in a panel discussion on US-China political cooperation and diplomacy.
