Dr. Doug Slaymaker Visits the Center and Lectures on Japanese Artists!
The Center for Asian Democracy was proud to present, the first speaker in our Annual Scholarly Speaker Series, Dr. Doug Slaymaker who lectured on "The Japanese Desire for France: Japanese Artists in 1920s Paris." Dr. Slaymaker is Associate Professor of Japanese in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Kentucky. The event was held Thursday, September 20th from 2:30-4:00 in Ford Hall Rm. 407.
