Dr. Thomas Moore

Thomas G. Moore was born and raised near Buffalo, New York. After earning a B.A. from Hamilton College, Moore received his M.A. and Ph.D from the Department of Politics at Princeton University. Moore is Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Department of Political Science at the University of Cincinnati, where he teaches courses on International Political Economy, Asian politics, and U.S. foreign policy. In addition to China in the World Market: Chinese Industry and International Sources of Reform in the Post-Mao Era (Cambridge University Press, 2002), Moore is also the author of numerous book chapters and scholarly articles on China's participation in the world economy, U.S. relations with East Asia, and Chinese foreign policy. Moore's research has been supported by major awards from the U.S. Fulbright program and the Smith Richardson Foundation.
