What’s it all about?

It’s about you. The A&S Research Office has undergone a quiet but major change in the past 20 months. A&S Associate Dean Robert Buchanan has brought in two new staff members to augment the work he and Research Manager Diane Penrod have done ably but with an increasing load. The College of Arts & Sciences and the Office of the Executive Vice President for Research has committed the resources necessary to provide staff who can help you find funding for your projects, develop and edit your proposals, develop your budgets, and navigate the sometimes sticky thicket of grant requirements both from the university and from funders/sponsors. The Research Office is also providing training in grant writing and funding searches, for faculty through A&S, and for graduate students through a collaboration with SIGS. If you’re interested in training, check out our Events page. If you want help getting the funding you need to pursue your academic goals, contact our office. And keep an eye on the A&S Research Office website – it’s new too! Our goal is to provide you with the help you need to fund your research and academic projects.

Because it’s all about you. Come see us!
