Selene Phillips wins First Place in "Women Who Write" Contest
Selene Phillips Professor of Communication, received first place in the 2013 Women Who Write International Short Prose and Poetry Contest for “i miss lac du flambeau.” The contest attracted 281 entries from 33 U.S. states and four other countries.
Her entry will be published in “Calliope,” the organization’s annual anthology. The 2013 Calliope will be the group’s 20th such anthology and will be available for sale in November.
Women Who Write, a nonprofit organization based in Louisville, encourages, supports, and educates all women who aspire to write.
