Psych Prof. Patrick Shafto receives NSF grant

    Patrick Shafto, assistant professor, Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, has received $626,079 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for his project “CAREER: A Rational Analysis of How Teachers' Examples Constrain Learning and Inference.” The proposal was submitted through the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program, and is a five-year project. Shafto is the sole PI.
