A&S International Programs
College of Arts and Sciences International Programs seek to expand and strengthen the College’s global presence and visibility. Learn more about our mission and scope.
A&S offers short-term programs around the world, from the Caribbean and Latin America to Asia, Africa, and Europe. Students can receive credit for courses in foreign languages, art and architecture, international business, cross-cultural communication, and a variety of other fields.
An exchange program is an outstanding launching pad for students to explore the world while fulfilling their academic requirements. Many A&S students advance or start their international experience and enhance their personal growth through a variety of international exchange programs in Africa, Asia or Europe for one semester or a full academic year.
The International program also conducts programs within the United States. In Spring 2015, students traveled to Wisconsin’s Lac du Flambeau band of the Lake Superior Chippewa reservation to study Native American culture and history in media, literature and the arts.
The World Scholars Program provides select undergraduate students with up to $8000 of funding to support a significant study experience in a country or region of the world whose principal language is not English.
