A&S lobby monitors to be taken offline
As of June 30, the IT-sponsored server that delivers content to the A&S lobby monitors will be taken off-line. At this point, there are no plans to move to an alternative system. If your department or program wishes to sponsor a lobby monitor, i.e. provide and monitor both the content and the technical delivery system, please contact Mark Rubenstein, Assistant to the Dean for Technology, at 852-8840.

Open Walls exhibit features five A&S faculty and staff
The fifth annual Faculty/Staff Open Walls exhibit will open with an artist reception June 4 at noon outside the Photographic Archives gallery. The exhibit is located in the east wing, lower level of Ekstrom Library. The exhibit will run from June 4 – 26, from 8am – 5pm weekdays.

Belknap Farmers Market open Thursdays
The Belknap Farmers Market will be open Thursdays from 3:30 –6pm. Located on Brandeis Street next to the Ville Grill, the market will operate until October 15. Patrons can shop for homegrown produce, healthy snacks, preserves, baked goods and crafts, as well as enjoy free live entertainment.

2015 Primary Races for Kentucky Governor
(WLOU-1350, 5/23/2015) – Prof. Dewey Clayton on the Kentucky governor’s race.

Call for quilts, quilters (Harlan Daily, 5/26/2015) – Prof. Pearlie Johnson (Pan-African Studies/Art History) is conducting a research project on quilts and quilters in Harlan, Letcher, and Perry Counties to produce a documentary, quilt exhibition and book.

Does Google Help Students Learn (or Just Think They Do?) (Education Week, 5/26/2015) – Profs. Nicholaus Noles and Judith Danovitch on their research with children and computer use.

Erlanger native receives Fulbright Award (Cincinnati Enquirer, 5/29/2015) – On A&S alumnus and Fulbright recipient LaShawn Ford.
