Dean's Message

Dear Colleagues:

I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to nominate your faculty and staff colleagues for the 2020 A&S awards. Awards will be given at the A&S Celebration of Excellence on April 21, 2020, in the SAC Multipurpose Room.

I know that submitting a nomination takes time, and most of us have precious little of that. However, I believe the payoff is worth it for all involved. The goodwill and public recognition generated are important building blocks in creating a true community of care in A&S. Additionally, so many of us do work that is worthy of praise. Let’s elevate that work for all to see and appreciate.

Time is short though — nominations are due February 28, 2020. You can find out more and nominate here

Sincerely,

David S. Owen, Ph.D.
Interim Dean, and
Professor of Philosophy
