Professor Harris, Chair, called the meeting to order.

The Chair recognized Professor McLeod on behalf of the Curriculum Committee. Professor McLeod, seconded by the committee, moved approval of the proposal for a B.S. degree in Psychology.

The Chair then recognized Professor Riedel on behalf of the Planning and Budget Committee. Professor Riedel said that Planning and Budget also recommended the proposal, with the suggestion that departments in the natural sciences and mathematics monitor the demands made on their resources by this degree program.

Discussion included Professor Pfeffer, DeMarco, and Molfese.

Hearing no call for further discussion, the Chair put the question and the motion carried unanimously.

The Chair again recognized Professor McLeod, who moved approval of the M.A. in Women's and Gender Studies. The motion was seconded by the committee.

Discussion included Dean Brennan and Professor Theriot.

Hearing no call for further discussion, the Chair put the question and the motion carried unanimously.

Hearing no call for new business, the Chair declared the meeting adjourned.
