All actions are effective Fall 2004 unless otherwise noted. Graduate programs and courses must also be approved in the Graduate School. General Education courses must be approved by the university-wide General Education course committee.

A minor in Forensic Anthropology was approved.

Courses in Chinese Studies proposed for the General Education cultural diversity requirement were returned to the Department of Classical and Modern Languages for more specific statements of the ways in which the courses would address the goals and objectives of the cultural diversity area. The committee encouraged the department to make such revisions and return the courses for consideration.
