The minutes of the meeting of October 16 were approved as distributed.

The committee approved a proposal for a bioethics concentration in the B.A. in Philosophy.

The following course actions were approved, effective 2002 Fall. [Graduate courses must also be approved by the Graduate Council and proposals for General Education must be approved by the General Education Course Committee.]

Action was deferred on COMM 560 until it could be determined if the department wished to submit it for graduate credit.
