CURRICULUM COMMITTEE MINUTES

Professor Morrill called the meeting to order at 9:00. The committee agreed that ML 361, 362, 363, and 364 should be approved to meet the Humanities GER (in the category of literature in any language). BIOL 584/684: Interdisciplinary Frameworks in Environmental Science and Technology was approved, pending receipt of a statement regarding the difference required for graduate and undergraduate credit. The committee discussed the proposal for the changes to the requirements for the major in English, and accompanying course requests, for some time. Action was deferred on a number of items until clarification or additional information could be obtained from the department. Title and description changes were approved to the following courses, effective 97U.
