University of Louisville’s Hite Art Institute and Alumni Association present the first

Campus Gallery Hop!

• Thursday, October 1, 2009
• 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

1] Hite Galleries at Schneider Hall

• 6 p.m. Gallery tour and talk

Billy Hertz “Farm Fields: History and Erosion”+ new additions of paintings, prints and drawings to the University Art Collection from Dr. & Mrs. Maurice John.

2] Special Collections and Photographic Archives at Ekstrom Library

3] Speed Art Museum -- visit various galleries.

• 7 p.m. Lecture - Denyse Thomasos, visiting artist will talk about her large-scale, architectural painting installations.
  

Parking is available at the Speed Museum, located at 2035 South Third Street,
adjacent to the University of Louisville Belknap Campus. Note: Eastern Parkway near UofL is currently closed due to construction.
