Axton series - Tobias Wolff
Tobias Wolff, the Ward W. and Priscilla B. Woods professor of English at Stanford University. Wolff’s books include the memoirs “This Boy’s Life” and “In Pharoah’s Army: Memories of the Lost War”; novels “The Barracks Thief” and “Old School”; and short-story collections “In the Garden of the North American Martyrs,” “Back in the World,” “The Night in Question” and “Our Story Begins: New and Selected Stories.” His awards include the American Academy of Arts and Letters’ Academy Award in Literature, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the PEN/Faulkner Award.

Wolff will read from his work at 7:30 p.m. March 29 in the Cressman Center for Visual Arts, 100 E. Main St., and will lead a two-hour master class at 10 a.m. March 30 in Room 300, Bingham Humanities Building.
