Joy Carew, UofL associate professor of Pan-African studies, will discuss African Americans who left the United States for the Soviet experience; she is the author of "Blacks, Reds and Russians: Sojourners in Search of the Soviet Promise."
NETWORK luncheons are sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and begin at noon in the University Club. Each meal is $10; reservations are required by the Monday prior to each event.
