Rinda Frye, Professor and Chair of Theater Arts, poses the question: Why are Shakespeare's plays still so popular today? The answers vary. Shakespeare belongs to everyone, but the view of actors and theater professionals differs from that of literary critics and other scholars. For Rinda Frye, producing a Shakespeare play is like collaborating with a living artist.
