Hank Savitch, Brown and Williamson Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Urban and Public Affairs, asks: What makes a city “great”? A city’s magical appeal should generate enthusiasm, admiration and reverence. You will learn to recognize Dr. Savitch’s “4 Cs” – currency, cosmopolitanism, concentration and charisma. And you will have a chance to discover how Dr. Savitch ranks our city of Louisville in these crucial areas.
