Diversity
Inclusion and Equity Internships available
The College of Arts & Science Dean's Office for International, Diversity and Outreach Programs* is recruiting 5 interns. The purpose of the Internship is to provide students with an opportunity to apply their education and passion for inclusion and equity to actual programming. This is an un-paid internship. There are, however, significant rewards associated with this position. If you are interested in receiving additional information and/or applying for this internship, please contact Marian R. Vasser at 852-2252 or mrvass01@louisville.edu
Arts and Culture
The UofL Arts and Culture Partnership Initiative
The Arts and Culture Partnerships Initiative is an effort to develop (and sustain) closer collaborative relationships between the University of Louisville and local cultural institutions, including museums, historic homes and arts and cultural organizations. There will be 4-5 academic paid for credit internships for 3 free credit hours available for any undergraduate and graduate students at the University beginning in the Spring 2010 semester.
Just recently, as you know, The Carnegie Foundation has affirmed that UofL is an extraordinary model in terms of outreach. So the Arts and Culture Partnerships Initiative is a narrow segment of this much larger sphere that includes the Signature Partnership in West Louisville and the medical outreach that the university does and all the outreach internships programs that happen in the Business School, the Speed School, communication department and so on. If you are interested and need more information, please contact, Linda L. Wilson llwils01@louisville.edu 852-0274
