Liberal Arts Education

A liberal arts education is designed to help students see life from multiple perspectives, and become well rounded individuals.  Students are encouraged to learn how to think - rather than what to think.  Liberal arts degrees usually require that students take the full spectrum of general education courses such as english, math, natural sciences, social sciences, public speaking, humanities, arts, and cultural diversity.  This allows students to continue on to higher education or employment in a variety of areas (rather than being restricted to only one area of knowledge).

In addition to the above - employers are seeking to hire people who have a liberal arts degree from an accredited institution.
