Admission is selective.  Consult the Fine Arts department website for details.  Applicants who do not meet the minimum overall grade point standards for the College of Arts & Sciences (2.0) and are not in ‘good standing’ will not be considered.

Classical and Modern Languages

Communication

2.0 Overall GPA, 2.0 GPA in the Minor, must have completed Comm 201 or a higher-level Comm course at UofL with a grade of “C” or higher.

English

2.0 Overall GPA, 2.0 GPA in the Minor, must have completed English 101 & 102 (or 105).

History

2.0 Overall GPA, 2.0 GPA in the Minor

Humanities

Minimum 15 semester hours earned, 2.0 Overall GPA

Psychology

Effective Fall 2006:
Completion of Psych 201 with a grade of C- or higher
Completion of 2 additional courses in Psychology at the 300+ level with minimum grades of C-.
Completion of 30 degree-applicable credits with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0

Sociology

Effective Fall 2006:
Must complete Soc. 301 or equivalent course with a C or higher
