lives. Rural children\, lost in the unfamiliar environment of the citi
es\, turn to juvenile delinquency\; children born with disabilities st
ruggle without the services to meet their special needs\; and children
with chronic\, or deadly\, diseases suffer quietly. These are the sub
jects of An Haibo’s photographs\, their plight represented by the fi
ve groups in this exhibition\: Little Angels’ Dreams\, A Pu and Li Y
ing\, Bad Kids and Hopeless Road\, Little Yue Yue\, and Mai Rong. Thro
ugh her compassionate lens\, An Haibo captures not only the struggles
and dreams of the children she photographs\, but their passion for lif
e and strength in the face of adversity.
