• Assist WAC staff with logistical arrangements of international visitors’ cultural and professional
• program, including but not limited to:
• Arrange hotel and home-stay accommodations.
• Greet visitors at the airport and assist in their departure.
• Research professional appointments and internships.
• Research and develop cultural activities for participants, their host families, and WAC staff.
• Participate in cross-cultural activities with visitors and staff.
• Accompany international delegations to meetings and site visits during professional and cultural
• programming.
• Perform administrative tasks as requested.

Special Events Focus:

As an Events Program Volunteer, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Help coordinate and promote speaking engagements with global leaders and monthly Global
• Nights events
• Research new speakers for event programs
• Help manage Council membership program and growth initiatives
• Participate in cross-cultural activities with speakers and staff
• Support public relations efforts including press releases, newspaper editorials, email blasts,
• publications, and mailings
• Perform administrative tasks as requested
