What are the relationships between photography, history and documentation?  Authors, photographers, curators and scholars will explore these connections and more at an October 14th University of Louisville conference, sponsored by the Center for Arts and Culture Partnerships in conjunction with the Louisville Photo Biennial.  Speakers include Shelby Lee Adams, longtime photographer of Appalachia; Pulitzer Prizewinning photojournalist Lucian Perkins; Matt Wrbican, Andy Warhol Museum archivist; Tom Rankin, director of Duke's Center for Documentary Studies; and Molly Bingham, photographer and filmmaker noted for her work in Iraq, Rwanda and Eastern Congo.

This event is free for students, registration for faculty and the public is $20, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
