Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP)

This program provides UofL undergraduate students research experience in one of the university's departments that offers graduate degrees.

This program is designed to give students who are interested in graduate level education a 10 week research experience in one of UofL's departments. Mentors will provide students with individualized research projects, and the program will provide group seminars on topics related to research and graduate education.

SROP students will receive a stipend of $3,500 for the 10 weeks and the mentor is eligible for up to $500 to support the student's research.

Applications, official transcripts and letters of recommendation are accepted after December 19th and are due by March 1st, 2012.
