Two graduate students earn GSU grants for the academic year
Congratulations to anthropology graduate students Marissa Williams and Jennifer Guffey who each earned Graduate Student Union grants for their research!
Jennifer Guffey is researching cranio-metrics of human remains in Portugal and is using the funds she earned to purchase ForDisk 3.0, a forensic database used to determine the sex and ancestry of the human remains.
Marissa Williams is using the grant she was awarded for her independent study with Jay Stottman on public archaeology. She will be using the grant to assist with travel expenses from her home to Riverside where she will be conducting her independent study.
