Presenters include a U.S. Department of State-sponsored delegation of women from Canada who are travelling to the United States and will discuss the following topics:
- Learning about the role of women as leaders in their communities, professions, and families;
- Examining grassroots, non-profit, and civil society efforts to advocate and provide services for women's issues, conflict resolution, and religious diversity; and
- Exploring best practices in integrating immigrant and Muslim groups into Western society
The event will begin with a panel presentation and end with a community dialogue and Q&A session on these important topics. While the event is free and open to the public, we ask that you please RSVP by sending an email or calling the event contacts listed to the right before the day of the event.
