Presenters include a U.S. Department of State-sponsored delegation of women from Canada who are travelling to the United States and will discuss the following topics:
- Learning about the role of women as leaders in their communities, professions, and families;
- Examining grassroots, non-profit, and civil society efforts to advocate and provide services for women's issues, conflict resolution, and religious diversity; and
- Exploring best practices in integrating immigrant and Muslim groups into Western society
The event will begin with a panel presentation and end with a community dialogue and Q&A session on these important topics.
