The award is given to anthropology students who show excellence in their classwork as demonstrated by their overall and departmental GPA, who show promise of continuing their education in anthropology or a related field after graduating, who show how the proposed international experience complements their education, and who demonstrate financial need.  These funds can only be used to support travel/study abroad programs in which the student is registered for credit hours at either UofL or a foreign University.  Preference is given to students of junior or senior standing.
