Graduate student David Hoefer presents at SAA
David presented a poster at this year's annual Society for American Archaeology meeting in Tennessee.
David Hoefer's SAA poster offered a top-line comparison of two Archaic hunter-gatherer rockshelter sites that are currently under excavation at Ghost Ranch in north central New Mexico. David's thesis will involve an intersite analysis of faunal remains, which appear to diverge dramatically in number, type, and condition, despite similar ecologies and overlapping chronologies.
