Two Anthropology majors among this year's Fullbright award recipients

Hunter Pittman, anthropology and sports administration major, and Johanna Haejean Yun, anthropology and biology major, are among this year's prestigious Fullbright Award recipients.

UofL senior Hunter Pittman has received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant scholarship to Brazil where he will teach English. The Hopkinsville native has already traveled abroad extensively through internships and conferences. He has been to India, Japan, Greece and the Philippines. The anthropology and sport administration double major also has worked with at-risk youth, using sports to enhance their development.

UofL senior Johanna Yun has received a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant scholarship to South Korea where she will teach English. The Elizabethtown native has been active in the Asian-American community by volunteering at the Crane House-Asia Institute and teaching art at the Korean School of Louisville. She is a biology and anthropology double major and plans to attend medical school after she returns from South Korea.
