Research Interests:  Archaic American prehistory, Mississippian Period prehistory, Kentucky history, Victorian Louisville, remote sensing (electromagnetometer and resistance meter), GIS, burial excavation (prehistoric & historic), archival research, and historic artifact analysis. David's thesis interests include landscape archaeology and how social contexts can be derived from site features and artifact content.
