Danube Christmas Markets Cruise

Join the University of Louisville as you embrace the glory, tradition, and magic of the 2009 holiday season with delights from Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary--from the large beautiful Christmas Markets of Vienna to the more intimate Christmas Markets of Passau, Salzburg and Bratislava. Each port combines timeless traditions with elegant pageantry for a joyous start to your 2009 holiday festivities. This seven-night cruise embarks in Passau, Germany, and travels the Danube River all the way to Budapest, Hungary. Celebrate Mozart’s musical genius in one of Vienna’s well-known concert halls. Listen to the sweet sounding voices of a children’s choir in Salzburg. As you sail in grand European luxury, participate in gingerbread baking and floral classes, as well as glass ornament demonstrations.
