What is SOAR?

• Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR) offers current UofL students the opportunity to network with alumni at events, qualify for SOAR scholarships and develop leadership skills.

What are the benefits of joining SOAR?

• Valuable networking and mentoring opportunities with local and national UofL alumni
• Summer internship possibilities
• Participation in rewarding volunteer opportunities
• opportunities for scholarships offered through the Alumni Association
• Opportunites to develop strong leadership skills

What are the requirements of being a SOAR member?

• Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Students are required to participate in a specific number of events each semester
• Students MUST attend monthly meetings

When does SOAR meet?

• The first and third Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. in the Rodney William, Jr. Boardroom (located in the Chancey Center formerly known as the University Club & Alumni Center on the 2nd floor)
