Colin's interests and talents are varied, and include Music (of nearly all kinds), Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, Foreign Languages, and Social Issues.
Colin's activist tendancies go back to his roots in Community Service, through Boy Scouts and his parents involvement with Habitat for Humanity and various other organizations. He first began organizing in high school, attempting to start a recycling program at his school throught the formation of the "Green Team," and participated in his first protests with the Connecticut anti-war movement. Moving to Louisville was Colin's first introduction to living in a truly urban area, and thus became aware of and educated about a multitude of interconnected issues directly related to the urban condition. At the University of Louisville, he has been active in groups such as Students United for Peace and Justice and Greenthumb, and has volunteered with a host of community organizations around town, dealing with the issues of the environment, education, and poverty.
Colin is exploring many options for the future, including possible graduate studies in fields such as Sustainable Architecture and Urban Planning, and working, researching, or studying abroad.
