Ms. Beth Loree, Academic Counselor
School of Music
Dean's Office, Room 118
(502) 852-0517
Beth is responsible for all School of Music student academic services, advising all freshmen and sophomore students and monitoring degree progress for all undergraduate students. She is also adviser to Delta Omicron. Beth earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from UofL in 1969 and has been on staff in the School of Music since 1979. She was the recipient of the University’s Outstanding Performance Award and Alumni Service Award in October 2002, and was named Delta Omicron Advisor of the Year in July 1995.
Beth was selected as the 2005-2006 professional/administrative recipient of the Provost's Award for Exemplary Advising. This is wonderful recognition of Beth's immeasurable contributions to music students over many years. More than the thrill of winning, she said that having the opportunity to read all the nomination letters was extremely touching and moving.
