Academic advisement reports, course planner among new features in the Student Center, a new feature on ULink
Greetings students!
We hope you are having a good semester so far!
We recently launched a new version of ULink that includes new features that are available for new, non-transfer students who entered Summer 2010 and later.
Introducing the Student Center
The Student Center in ULink is a new way to view your student information, keep track of your academic progress and enroll for classes.
In the Student Center, three new options are available to help you and your advisor:
- measure your progress toward a degree using the Standard Advisement Report;
- simulate your progress toward a degree if you changed your major and/or took specific courses using the What-If Advisement Report; and
- plan your academic career using the Course Planner.
In addition, these new features are integrated with the course registration system. During registration, you can register for courses from your Course Planner, your Standard Advisement Report and your What-If Advisement Report (if the courses you select are offered for that semester).
Step-by-step instructions and instructional videos on how to use these new features are available.
Please take a look when you get a chance and let us know if you have any questions, comments or suggestions.
Please note that, while every effort has been made to ensure that the information in the system is correct and complete, it is possible that inconsistencies exist. You should meet with your academic advisor to review your report and to verify all information listed in the advisement reports.
If you have any questions or concerns, let us know.
