1. What is your favorite thing about advising U of L students?
I really enjoy helping people. My background in advocacy and casework prepared me to work with meeting students.
2. What is your favorite thing about working or living in the city of Louisville?
My Dad grew up here and I really enjoy the culture and architecture.

I have a Masters from UNC Chapel Hill in Library Science. I studied bibliographic instruction and taught career development as a graduate assistant.
5. Name one interesting activity/hobby that you do outside of your profession.
I really enjoy creating mixed media artwork. I have a B.F.A. in visual arts and worked as a jewler and a potter before getting my Masters, so I try to keep creating art. I also have a couple of websites I maintain. I also recently made a terrarium to house a mint and parsley plant.
6. What has been your favorite place to visit?
I enjoyed visiting New Mexico.
7. If you could visit one place that you have never visited, where would you like to go?
I would like to visit Italy.
8. What was the last book you read?
I have been reading Amy Tan books lately. To be honest the last book I read was a book on distance education, but the last fiction I read was The Bonesetter's Daughter by Amy Tan.
9. If you could interview one living person in the world, who would you pick and why?
I really don't know. It would be interesting to listen to a dolphin if they could talk. I really like Madeleine L' Engle's book Arm of the Starfish.
10. What is your favorite "saying" or quote?
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." Unknown

I would ask for potato leek soup.
12. What is one piece of advice that you wish you could tell all U of L students?
You get out of life what you put into it. Make the most of these years!
13. What is one thing you are most proud of about your advising experiences at the University of Louisville?
I just enjoy helping people and feeling like I'm making a difference.
14. What was your favorite band/singer or movie in high school?
I liked the movie Some Kind of Wonderful.
15. Why did you choose to work for U of L?
The students here are very polite and nice.
16. Of all the courses you see on a day to day basis, which one course would you most like to take or audit?
I would like to take a 500 level art course on multi-media website building. Out of the general education courses, I would like to take a cultural diversity course.
