AdvisorTrac

AdvisorTrac is a web-based system used to schedule advising appointments, to track the utilization of advisement resources, and to retain notes about individual advisees and advising sessions.  The application is updated nightly with the most recent data from PeopleSoft Student Administration, the official records system of the University.

The implementation of AdvisorTrac will help to fulfill the goal of the University to implement a university-wide software program to evaluate student learning outcomes related to academic advising.  Further, the academic advising vision of the University encompasses technological innovation as a component of an overall system of excellence.

As the system is developed, it is anticipated that AdvisorTrac will also be used to track the status and progress of those students in academic distress.  This data will be analyzed to determine and develop appropriate intervention programs to address this population.
