What's different in 2008?
- Cost
of health coverage is higher. Why?
- UofL expanded its dependent definition to include qualifying adults. Qualifying adults can be covered under UofL health, vision and dental plans, but the employee pays the full cost of coverage.
- Anthem Dental Blue is the new UofL dental plan.
- Anthem Blue View Vision is the new UofL vision plan. Rates are lower this year.
- HealthFitness Corp. will provide the health risk assessment and telephone health coaching for Get Healthy Now participants.
- There will be a lower co-pay for generic prescription medications and an increase for brand prescription medications.
- We have made some adjustments to our health plans to make the plans more equitable. Click here for a summary of plan changes for 2008.
